Thoi Son, a nature destination!
The Lodge is located 15 minutes from the city of My Tho, in the extreme west of the Island of the Unicorn, the largest of the four islands located nearby the city of My Tho. You can visit the island on foot, by bicycle, horse carriage, walk peacefully on the shady paths winding through fruit trees, longan, banana, mango … and go to a small handicraft market.
If you are early, we advise you to take a ride to the village market to plunge deeper into Vietnamese life. By boat, it is very easy to go to the other islands, or with a small ferry and a 10-minute crossing, end up in the province of Ben Tre, known and renowned for its vast coconut plantations. In the city of My Tho, you can visit two pagodas, the most famous is Vinh Trang with 3 gigantic Buddha. You can also go to the snake farm Dong Tam, the largest of Vietnam, which also houses the largest center for scientific research on snake bites treatment in Vietnam.
